Bridget's Background
Bridget is a UKCP registered psychotherapist (
United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and a member of
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She has a BA in Languages, a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the
Metanoia Institute. Her Diploma in Therapeutic and Transpersonal Hypnosis is accredited by
The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and she is a member of the
The General Hypnotherapy Register . She also has a Certificate in Life Between Lives Spiritual Regression from the
Past Life Regression Academy, accredited by the International Board of Regression Therapy
(IBRT). Along with these qualifications she has been the practice counsellor at a GP surgery in South London, and has worked at
Camden Bereavement Counselling Centre and St Thomas' Hospital. For several years she was a telephone counsellor for a major EAP provider.
Areas of SpecialismBridget's integrative approach enables her to help you in a way that is tailored to you as an individual. She works with clients who bring a range of issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety, phobias, depression and issues around self esteem. In addition she works with those who want to build their confidence and break unwanted habits such as smoking and overeating. She also works with clients who wish to improve their ability to learn, their presentation skills and their creative abilities.
